Enjoying the warm weather

The weather was nice and warm this week. Giada got to enjoy some time outside playing in the sprinkler and on her swing, while Dominic preferred to stay inside snoozing. On Friday we had a visit from her friend, Jackson. Giada was so excited to see him and his mommy, Kim. She enjoys playing with Jackson and giving him kisses. Hopefully once Dominic is a little older he can join in on the play :)

What a busy week!

We had a busy week this week. We've gone from "daycare center" to sick person house to house of never ending doctor appointments. The week started off perfect with a visit from my BFF, Stacie. I got to spend some time this week with my friend and her baby, Katie & Carter. We got to watch Katie's niece, adorable Mackenzie. I unfortunately got sick and passed it to my 2 kids :( but they seem to be fairing pretty well. Now I think my hubbie is coming down with it, and for him it will be the "man flu". Today I took my son to his 1 month doctor appt. We found out he's in the 90th percentile for weight....11lbs 11oz! But he's still my adorable LITTLE baby....lol. He's in the 50th percentile for height....21.75" and he's in the 32nd percentile for his head....14.84". We are blessed to have a healthy, growing baby boy. I got to spend a little time today with my niece, Cecelia, whom I love dearly. Just seeing her, no matter how sick I felt, put a smile on my face. This week I even fit in a Body Flow class.....no doubt thanks to the extra motivation of having to meet Melissa there. So another week that makes me ready to hit the couch and relax all weekend long....but there is no time for that. Lots to get done this weekend!

A day at the park

We got to enjoy the beautiful weather on Friday as well as some family time at the park. Giada loved going down the slides and swinging. I think Dominic liked to just get out of the house and get some fresh air. We all enjoyed a picnic together and then play time.

Our first walk as a family of 4 :)

With the weather being so hot lately it's been almost impossible to take walks. But today we got some heavy thunderstorms in the middle of the afternoon that cooled things off so we were able to take our first walk as a family of 4. Yes, the double stroller seems like a bus, but it fits our needs so it should come in handy. Giada seemed to like her place at the front of the bus. While Dominic seemed very relaxed pulling up the rear. I love my family.

Pool Time

We spent our 4th of July at my sister's community pool. Yes, it was VERY crowded, but Giada and Cecelia didn't seem to notice. And it was such a nice pool for kids! Giada loved the baby pool and the "sprinkler" area. Daddy was running her and Cecelia through all the sprinklers and they had a lot of fun. Giada and Cecelia were giving each other lots of kisses by the end of the day! (almost too many!! lol)

Beach time!

We just got back from a week at the beach. Giada loved the ocean and surprisingly liked playing in the sand. She also seemed to enjoy the pool. Over the week she got lots of quality time in with her cousin Cecelia, Aunt Liz, Aunt Tara and Grandparents. She seemed to start "talking" a lot more while we were at the beach saying "baby", "grandma" and we swear she said "buzz light year" after much coaching...lol. She rode the rides on the boardwalk for the first time even though her mommy was very anxious about letting her go on some of the rides. She loved Grottos pizza, but there aren't many people who don't! Here are some pics of good times :)

Another DutchWonderland Kind of Day!

What a beautiful day it was on Saturday! The weather was iffy, but in the end it turned out to be the perfect day to go to DutchWonderland and enjoy some family time. Giada was able to get on many more rides since she's now walking. She seemed to enjoy the water park the best since it was so hot out. It was very crowded! But I think the crowds only bothered mommy and daddy because Giada loved to watch all the other little kids. Can't wait for our next trip to DW!
