Giada and Dominic's first time at Hershey Park

We were able to score free tickets to Hershey Park for this past Sunday. It was a little crowded and a little hot, but we had such a good time watching Giada on all the rides. This is one of the first times that she has been on rides by herself. It did make me sad to see her all alone on some of the rides, but then I thought next year, she'll have her brother to go on rides with. Then I thought that makes this tired, chaotic life that we have right now worth it :)Giada loved wearing her sunglasses and fought with us when we tried to take them off. So she wore them most of the day. Dominic did a lot of sleeping....lol. Here are some pics from the trip.

Our growing boy

Dominic had his 2 month doctor's appt this week. Although he still doesn't sleep for longer than 4 hour stretches and seems to cry a lot during the day, the doctor is happy with his progress and all in all says we have a healthy baby boy :) A healthy and GROWING baby boy! Here are his stats:

Weight: 14lbs 5 oz (92%)
Height: 22.5" (25%)
Head: 15.47" (27%)

So yes, Dominic does like to eat. And I love all the time I get to spend with him while he is eatting (well, maybe not so much when he needs to eat when we are at a restaurant where breastfeeding isn't the most comfortable)

Community Day

Today the weather was gorgeous and we were able to enjoy it at our local Community Day. We had so much fun with all the activities we were all worn out and came home and took a 2.5 hour nap....EVERYONE! lol.... Dominic slept through most of the activities at Community Day, but Giada loved it. She got to ride a pony named Nugget. She also got to play on many bouncies. She wouldn't go on any without mommy or daddy so both mommy and daddy got a workout going through all the obstacle courses carrying Giada. Once we got off all the bouncies Giada was still bouncing in the grass. And she really didn't want to get off the bouncies. Our day ended on the playground that Giada loves.

Enjoying the warm weather

The weather was nice and warm this week. Giada got to enjoy some time outside playing in the sprinkler and on her swing, while Dominic preferred to stay inside snoozing. On Friday we had a visit from her friend, Jackson. Giada was so excited to see him and his mommy, Kim. She enjoys playing with Jackson and giving him kisses. Hopefully once Dominic is a little older he can join in on the play :)
