Giada's first visit with Santa

Giada got to visit Santa today and although, as usual, she's not smiling, she seemed to enjoy the experience :) She kept looking at Santa and seemed fascinated by his beard. She loved dressing like her cousin Cecelia. As soon as we met Cecelia, Tara & Adam at the mall Giada got so excited to see them that she started pumping her legs and arms. Having a daughter makes the holiday's even more special!

Giada visits more friends :)

On Sunday Giada got to play with more friends. We went to visit our friends Korin and Justin and their beautiful children, Brodie, Reese and Mason. Giada and Mason are about 2 months apart in age. She loved being able to play with all of Mason's toys. She also liked to watch Brodie and Reese play together. No, she's not smiling in any of these pictures but I swear she did seem to have a good time! lol......

Giada's first Thankgiving

Giada had a very exciting 1st Thanksgiving. We went to visit Grandma and Grandpa Myers first and had dinner at their house. Giada got to spend some quality time with Aunt Lisa and Uncle Dave there too. Then a couple hours later we were off to Grandma and Grandpa DiTomasso's house where she got to spend some quality time with Aunt Liz, Aunt Tara, Uncle Adam and probably her favorite of all.....her cousin Cecelia! Of course we couldn't resist putting them in the bath together again. How exciting it is to get to spend the holidays with family and our daughter.

Giada had a busy weekend!

Giada had a fun filled weekend this weekend. She got to visit one of her best friends, Jackson. We were so excited to see Jackson and his mommy, Kim, and see all the new things that Jackson is doing. I finally think that Giada is giving Jackson a run for his money on their sizes!





Giada loved getting to take a bath with her cousin Cecelia and watching Cecelia play with all her toys.

Giada's "6 month" check-up

Giada went for her 6 month check up this past week. When I took her right around her 6 month birthday she was sick, so her doctor wanted to wait until she was better to do the official 6 month check up. Here are Giada's most current stats:
Height: 27" (73%)
Weight: 17.12 lbs (65%)
Head: 16. 73" (34%)
So as suspected her head is still on the peanut side :) But we are glad that Giada is a healthy happy baby!

Giada's first Halloween!

Giada had her first halloween dress up day today. She went to daycare as a ladybug. Personally I think she is the cutest ladybug that ever lived :) I think I was more excited about her dressing up then she was! I can't wait until next year when we can take her out trick-or-treating :) Here are some pictures of my cute little baby girl.....

Giada's first trip to Dutchwonderland!

Although there weren't too many rides Giada could go on we had a blast taking her to Dutchwonderland for the first time :) We had free tickets from Dan's job so we figured we would use them. She absolutely loved the Merry-go-round. We can't wait to take her next year when she can get on more of the rides. Here are some pictures from our trip....

Giada's Baptism- 9/20/09

Giada was baptized at St. James Catholic Church today. It was a gorgeous day for a baptism.She wore the dress my sister's and I wore to our baptism's. She did wonderful during the baptism and only got fussy when we wanted to take pictures afterwards. It was a beautiful baptism and we were lucky because Giada was the only one being baptized so it felt much more personal. Giada paid close attention to the priest for most of the time. Giada has 2 wonderful Godmothers, Aunt Tara and Aunt Liz. And she was surrounded by lots of love from everyone that came to take part in her special day.

Giada's first 5 mile race!

Giada happily participated in her 2nd race today. We ran the 5 mile Pretzel Twist in Lititz, PA. Giada crossed the finish line just a second before her Aunt Liz. Aunt Liz and Daddy switched on and off pushing Giada every other mile. Giada slept for about the last 2 miles, I guess the first 3 miles really wore her out! Aunt Stacie even came to cheer Giada on!

Great bonding time with the grandparents!

Giada got to spend another weekend with Grandma and Grandpa Myers. Giada loves being able to get her quality time in with her Grandparents, and of course I am sure she probably loves all the spoiling too! Giada is lucky to have such a loving family :) Here are some pics from the weekend....usually Giada has the same face in every picture, kind of like Zoolander...lol...but Grandma and Grandpa were able to get some shots where she was actually smiling!!

A day of fun :)

Giada got to hang out with her buddy Jackson today. They still aren't too interactive, but they did enjoy looking at a book together! It's so fun to watch them grow up together and see all of the changes in their short couple of months of life.

Daddy was able to snap a couple of pictures of Giada eating her favorite food, oatmeal (at least her favorite for right now!) A little messy, but it's pretty fun feeding it to her!

Giada's first 5k!

Giada and family participated in her first 5k tonight! Daddy pushed Giada on the 3.2 mile hilly course! It was the Amos Herr 5k run in Landisville. Daddy's sentiments after the race were "If I would have known it was that hilly I might have thought twice about pushing her!". But even pushing Giada daddy still finished before mommy! ugh! :)

Every so often some of us that went to Shippensburg and our families get together for dinner. It's so nice to see everyone and catch up! Tonight we went to TJ Rockwell's in Mechanicsburg. How things have changed since we were all in grad school together! Kids have been added and have definitley changed the dynamic of our get togethers, but in a good way! Giada loved meeting her new friends!

She is back-sleeping!!

I caught Giada in this position today!! She will be playing in her crib and all the sudden fall asleep on her back! I don't think it's a deep sleep, but I am just happy that she is learning to sleep in all sorts of positions :)
Giada went for her 4 month check up yesterday. She had to get shots, that is never fun :( But here is some info on how she is a healthy, growing baby:
Height: 24" (32%)
Weight: 15.5 lbs (78%)
Head Circumference: 15.75" (17%)
So yes, she has a small, peanut like head...lol. But the doctor said her growth curve is perfect for her.

Giada's first family vacation!

Well, it's official! Giada has experienced her first beach vacation! And I would say she enjoyed it! She learned and experienced lots of new things while at the beach. On Wednesday she rolled over from her back to her belly for the first time. She did this in front of Grandma, but refused to do it again so mommy could see. hahaha....Daddy did see her do it also. She also found her feet and has so much fun playing with them. She got in a pool for the first time and even tried to ride the boogie board in the pool but didn't seem to like it. She didn't seem to like how cold the ocean water was, but absolutely LOVED her beach naps! She slept for almost 3hours on the beach and probably would have slept more, but we had to leave so i had to wake her up! She enjoyed spending time with her cousin Cecelia.
